Grande-Anse, New Brunswick

A small town with a big lighthouse! Grande-Anse is the gateway to the Acadian Peninsula - a region in north eastern New brunswick rich in culture, seafood and nature.

If you are looking for a perfect place for a picnic or a stop at the beach or a walk along the shoreline, Grande-Anse is the perfect stop.

We visited Grande-Anse in early April (2016) as a bit of a road trip... see the sights and show off the New Brunswick scenery to my in-laws. It was early in the spring so the grass wasn't green yet, but we still made the best of the situation and were able to get some pretty good pictures.

This is sure to be one of many road trips to the Acadian Peninsula!

My shoes for that: hiking shoes... like these for example.
