ENIGMA Sauvignon Blanc

Name: ENIGMA
Varietal: Sauvignon Blanc
Country: USA (California)
Vintage: 2015

Why did I decide to try this wine? Meghan, who seems to always be around when it's time to do "wine tasting research" bought this bottle of wine at the PEI Wine Fest this spring and brought it along for our houseboat weekend. The company sponsored the festival so she assumed (and rightfully so) it would be good.

Would I prefer one glass or indulge in the bottle? Bottle.

What shoes would I wear drinking this wine? Especially since we drank this wine while on a houseboat, I would strongly recommend Havaianas flip flops.

How would I describe the wine? This wine had a pretty distinct citrus flavour and smelled a lot like lemons to me. Meghan smelled some apple in there as well, but we both agreed that it was delightfully crisp and suited our evening in the hot tub on the roof deck quite nicely.
