Airplane Wine Review

Name: Silene Des Peyrals
Country: France
Vintage: 2016
Price: Free

Why did I decide to try this wine? I was on a flight from London to Montreal recently and to my surprise the wine was free. I have to admit that when flying I very very rarely purchase alcohol, but when it’s free... well, I say “thank you” and enjoy a glass.

Would I prefer one glass or indulge in a bottle? Glass. Although admittedly I did have two glasses.

What shoes would I wear drinking this wine? These old fashion heels. I like them but don’t love them. Would likely not buy them, but if they were given to me I would wear them... kinda like this wine.

How would I describe the wine? The smell was musty with a hint of sweetness and quite honestly reminded me of a senior citizen’s home (as odd as that may seem). The taste wasn’t very smooth but was sweet enough to make it drinkable. Frankly, for free wine it was just fine :)
